The clinic was opened in the south Haitian port of Les Cayes in 1947.  The hospital was built in 2007. It serves approximately 17,000 Haitians each year.

Centre Sante Lumiere provides a broad spectrum of out-patient services in family medicine, internal medicine, obstetrics, gynecology, pediatrics, urology, orthopedics, dentistry and community health. Since 1947, this regional center has treated more than one million Haitian patients.

In addition to providing effective medical care, our chaplainry programs introduce many hundreds each year to Jesus Christ. In 1999 we saw more than 400 patients and family members come to know Jesus as Savior. Everyone should know the Great Physician!
